We already saw this topic in class but I want to make a review because is important for the next topics. Hola Chicos, ya vimos la definición de Biographic sketch en clase, checa la información en tu cuaderno, en caso de que no la tengas entonces si copiala de aquí ;) 

Biographic sketch

It´s a story written in third person that tells something important about someone else. In a biographic sketch we can find:

Basic facts: about the person you are going to write (name, date of birth/death, place of birth, education, occupation).  Datos básicos de la persona.
Characteristics: the special qualities that the person has. Las cualidades especiales que tiene esa persona.
Accomplishments: This is what the person has achieved. Lo que la persona ha logrado.
Interesting details: Interesting facts about the person. Datos interesando de la persona.

Aqui esta un video que te explica acerca de la Biografía, solo hasta el minuto 2 es lo más relevante, lo demás es ya la Biografía del personaje que el niño eligió. Pero puedes verlo completo si gustas :) Miss you!

Prepare for an interview

Interview: an interview is the process of asking questions to another person and listening the answers. 

Activity:
You are going to choose a character and prepared the questions for an interview. It may be from someone you admire, someone of your family. It can be alive or dead. If you choose someone dead you are going to answer the questions from the information that already exist. 
For example I admire Walt Disney, and I want to write about him. I´m going to make an interview and answer the questions from the information in the Internet.

*Read the page #34 of your book Strategies for Writers.
*Answer the page #17 of your book Writers Journal. You are going to write the questions for the interview like the example on the page #34 Questions for My Interview.
